Coronavirus - Situation in Zurich

Zurich welcomes you back.

Some degree of normality has returned to Zurich: hotels, stores, restaurants, and many leisure activities have opened their doors and events for up to 1000 people are permitted. Social distancing and hygiene and protective measures are still of key importance, but visitors who travel smart can enjoy Zurich in a variety of ways.

The opening times of stores, service providers, and institutions in Zurich may vary. It is therefore advisable to contact the respective establishment in advance.

Guests from all Schengen countries may travel to Zurich again. Most important information on the restrictions on entering Switzerland and residence provisions is available from the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM).

The Zürich Tourism staff is delighted to assist and advise you in person in the Tourist Information office at Zurich Main Station. It can also be reached at any time via chat, e-mail, and phone.

Public transport operates according to the regular timetable. Up-to-date information can be obtained from the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) and the Zurich Transport Network (ZVV).

Further information on the official regulations is published on the website of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
